Our esteemed Arkadag pays great attention to the development of all sectors of the national economy of our country, the introduction of advanced world technologies in all sectors, the development of diversification. The oil and gas sector is one of the strongest pillars of our national economy, and it is making great strides as a result of the unprecedented efforts of our Esteemed President. One of the largest enterprises of the oil and gas complex of our country, fueled by great achievements and changes during the period of prosperity of our sovereign state, is the Kenar oil storage and loading enterprise of the Turkmenbashi oil processing complex.

The Kenar oil storage and loading enterprise of the complex of plants is one of the oldest in the country, on the basis of the agreement signed in 1886 by the head of the Trans-Caspian region on the allocation of land for oil depots to the Nobel Comradely Society, in July 2006, by the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan No. 7661 dated December 15, 2005, the Kenar oil storage and loading enterprise of the Turkmenbashi oil processing complex was named.

The refurbishment of the plant was mainly carried out from 1965 to 1968. The total area is 528.00 hectares, of which 312.5 hectares are used for industrial purposes. The company currently employs over 720 people, about 50 of whom are administrative personnel.

The production of the enterprise consists in the reception, storage and shipment of petroleum products, which plays an important role in the smooth operation of the complex of plants, the supply of petroleum products of our country’s enterprises to the domestic market, the timely export of petroleum products sold abroad, that is, the enterprise is one of the main links in the chain, which includes production, storage and delivery of petroleum products to consumers (buyers).

The enterprise works around the clock without interruption. It is engaged in the reception, storage and transportation of goods by sea and rail transport to the domestic market and abroad through pipelines, pipelines for oil products of the TOPC, oil products from the SOR. The plant has more than 130 steel tanks for receiving and storing oil products for production activities, 4 downhole spouts equipped with appropriate equipment for receiving and unloading goods by rail, including 1 automated railroad. There are overpasses, 2 offshore oil and gas fields, tankers, 60 t steam boiler, pumping stations and other auxiliary production facilities for shipment by sea. In addition, the company includes 45 office buildings, a utility and sewerage pumping station, and a cultural center in the Kenar town.

The enterprise has 14 production units (sections and groups), in addition to the governing board. They receive, store and ship petroleum products, ensuring the smooth operation of these operations, the supply of electricity, the production of steam and other industrial and social tasks.

As a result of the tireless efforts of our Esteemed President for the social and economic development of the country in recent years, the oil Kenar storage and loading enterprise, a pipeline and a production steam boiler, dozens of new tanks, automation, automated accounting of petroleum products, automated automation (SCADA) have been reconstructed, a perfect protection system has been built the outer perimeter, and in the near future it is planned to build the 3rd seaport with oil and oil products and fuel storage tanks.
